Mother's Milk Management System
The SafeLx system can operate in wireless (802.11x) or non-wireless environments and
requires only four components for full implementation:
Handhelds and Mobile Printers
Neoteric can provide all the necessary hardware for using SafeLx at the patient's bedside including:
- Symbol MC-70, Symbol MC-50 or HHP Dolphin handheld with cables and charger
- Zebra QL220 with cables and charger
Barcoded Identification
Neoteric can provide all the software, hardware and labels to fully implement the following barcoded identification elements:
- 2D barcoded wristbands (may require only a simple modification of your current system)
- Barcoded caregiver IDs (if available, most likely able to use current barcoded ID)
LacTrack Manager Computer (in the Milk Bank)
Neoteric can provide a desktop computer to access records and validate users
(or this can be provided by the hospital) with the following minimum requirements:
- Windows 2000 or XP
- Pentium Processor 500 MHz or higher
- 50 MB free disk space
- 128 MB of RAM
- Barcode scanner (keyboard wedge)
- Network connection
LacTrack Server Computer
- Windows 2000, XP, Server 2000 or Server 2003
- Pentium Processor 1 GHz or higher
- 10 GB free disk space
- 1 GB of RAM
- Universal power supply (UPS)
- Redundant hard drive, network port, power supply (optional)
