Test Request Ordering at the Bedside
Pathology orders can be electronically sent from many of the leading GP Practice
Management Systems the the laboratory using Indigo4's tQuest System in conjunction with
PathRequest GP.
How it works
- The test request order is placed in the GP Practice Management System as usual.
- The electronic order is captured by the tQuest system and sent via the NHS Net to the tQuest server in the laboratory.
- The sample label is printed at the GP office.
- The sample is labeled and sent to the lab.
- The sample is arrives at the laboratory, it is scanned into PathRequest GP and the order details are automatically released to the LIS.
- The sample is sent for processing. No data entry is required.
