Neoteric Technology Ltd was founded in 1997 with the objective of helping hospital laboratories reduce bottlenecks in the management of samples and patient information in the laboratory. Since then, Neoteric has grown into a world leader in patient safety with the goal to make healthcare safer for the patient, simpler for the caregiver and less expensive for the organization. We do this by electronically connecting positive patient identification to everything that is given to or taken from a patient while they are in the hospital.
We continue to develop solutions that track and control the collection, administration and movement of products used in direct patient care. We incorporate new technologies as they become commercially viable, such as RFID and biometrics. We focus our development on controlling the administration and collection at the patient's bedside including blood units, laboratory samples, mother's milk, and medications in the hospital setting.
We are always seeking to develop new products to solve the problems that health care professionals face every day and have established a reputation for excellence in our service, products, and ability to provide effective solutions to our customers. As a result, we have won numerous awards including the Microsoft MS-HUG and GC Innovation first place prizes.
Our products continue to build on our advanced three-layer client-server architecture that links wirelessly connected mobile computers, “smart” refrigerators and desktop computers. We also offer web-based version of our products where appropriate.
Neoteric products are installed in over 150 hospitals in 5 countries. Our BloodTrack application monitors the movement of over 750,000 blood units a year while AutoCard digitally archives request forms in over 25% of the laboratories in the UK.
Neoteric has partnered with a number of leading health care companies to provide our products world-wide.
